High-quality silicone foot-fetish toys are the choice of many people. Compared with TPE, silicone material is easier to clean.

The core principles are gentle and non-irritating cleaning, thorough disinfection, and avoiding damage to the material. Silicone itself is heat-resistant and chemically stable, but corrosive ingredients and improper handling must be avoided. The specific steps are as follows.

1. Pre-treatment (immediately after use)

After use, promptly rinse the toy surface under running warm water to remove any residual secretions.

2. Proper Cleaning

Choose a fragrance-free, alcohol-free, bleach-free neutral cleanser, such as a dedicated adult toy cleaner, mild hand soap, or baby body wash. Never use alcohol, disinfectants, bleach, dishwashing liquid, or other highly irritating products. These will corrode silicone and cause the material to harden, crack, or discolor.
Use a soft sponge, medical gauze, or clean fingers to gently wipe the toy surface. Clean seams and textured areas carefully. Avoid vigorous rubbing or scraping with hard-bristle brushes to prevent scratching the silicone.
Rinse thoroughly again with running warm water to ensure no cleaning agent residue remains.

3. Disinfection and Sterilization (Key Step)

After cleaning, further disinfection is required. Choose the method based on whether the toy is waterproof.

Fully waterproof silicone toys:
They can be boiled in water for 3 to 5 minutes, or steamed for 5 minutes. Alternatively, wipe the surface with a 3 percent medical-grade hydrogen peroxide solution, let it sit for 1 minute, then rinse with clean water.
Note:Prolonged use of ultraviolet sterilization lamps is not recommended, as this can accelerate silicone aging and yellowing.

4. Drying and Storage

Gently press with a clean disposable non-woven cloth or soft towel to absorb moisture. Do not rub. The toy can also be placed in a cool, well-ventilated area to air dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to heat sources such as heaters.
After it is completely dry, store it separately in a sealed storage bag or clean box, and keep it in a cool, dry, and light-protected place. Do not store it together with toys made of other materials, to prevent dust contamination or material interaction.

Prohibited Situations

If a silicone toy becomes sticky, discolored, cracked, develops an odor, or shows other abnormalities, it indicates that the material has been damaged. It should be replaced immediately and must not be used further.
